For thousands of years, in traditional astrology, the 'Great Conjunction' of Jupiter and Saturn was the primary marker for making long-term forecasts about society and its evolution. Jupiter rules expansion, success and optimism; Saturn rules contraction, integrity and strong foundations. Put them together and you have a seed moment; a recipe for social mastery. As Saturn and Jupiter meet up at 0 Aquarius on the day of the Summer Solstice, we’ll witness an event which won't be repeated in our lifetime - the end of an era, and the establishment of a new one. This event is historic in so many ways, not least because it begins a new 200 year cycle of Great Conjunctions in Air. We'll begin to see a change towards a focus on knowledge, connection, communication and ideals ... a collective shift that will define our direction and orientation for the next 2 centuries. This month at the Meet-up, we’ll investigate the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction, discuss its implications for us here in Australia, and in society moving forwards out of the pandemic. And of course, after the break, we'll look at our own charts and see what it means for us personally.
